The Association of Photographers (AOP) is a not for profit organisation that represents the very best in professional photography. It has always been at the heart of promoting photography as an art form and protecting the rights of photographers and their images.
The brief was to develop a logotype and symbol for a very special award - ICON. Annually given to an AOP member in recognition of their achievements and contribution to the industry.
With the AOP having 50 years of heritage, my aim was to create something that complemented the existing branding whilst moving forward with a more contemporary look and feel.
The ICON was to be a responsive logo that could be integrated seamlessly and in various different ways.
A good logo should represent a brand well and be able to be manipulated and/or changed to be used in varying contexts.
